The Inauguration of the Headquarters of the Jordanian Palestinian Company for Marketing Agricultural Products, in participation with the Palestine Trade Center - PalTrade

On Wednesday, it was announced the opening of the headquarters of the Jordanian Palestinian Company for Marketing Agricultural Products in the agricultural and industrial zone south of Jericho.

The Minister of Agriculture, Riyad Al-Atari, said that the inauguration of the Jordanian-Palestinian Company for Marketing Agricultural Products will contribute to enhancing the trade exchange between Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, supporting the agricultural sector, facilitating the process of exporting and importing agricultural products and developing agricultural sector services.

While the Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al-Hanaifat, affirmed the Kingdom's firm position and support of the rights of the Palestinian people, and explained that the opening of the company will contribute to strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and in promoting trade exchange between the two countries, as well as in supporting the Palestinian economy and enhancing economic security.

While the governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Jihad Abu al-Asal, pointed out the depth and strength of Palestinian-Jordanian relations, praising the position of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in support of our people's rights to freedom and independence and the support provided by the Kingdom, to the Palestinian people, in the process of construction and development.

In turn, the Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Palestine, Mr. Hattori Takashi, affirmed his country's support for efforts aimed at building trust and benefit, especially in the Middle East region, and pointed out that such projects aim to support and promote a sustainable economy in Palestine and the countries of the region.

While Mr. Arafat Asfour, a member of the board of directors of the Palestinian Trade Center PalTrade, stressed the importance of this joint achievement to support Palestinian-Jordanian agricultural products, as he stressed the depth and inevitability of the brotherly and sisterly relationship with our partners in the Kingdom of Jordan, explaining that the presence of a specialized joint company is an important window in the development and development of the sector. The agricultural sector in both countries, as it will have an active role in drawing strategies, opening markets and creating export and marketing opportunities for agricultural products, which casts a shadow over achieving advanced rates in economic development, explaining that the partnership approach, coordination of efforts and integration with the public and private sectors is a major pillar in achieving the desired development. He thanked the strenuous efforts of the governments of the two brotherly countries and their Excellencies the Ministers of Agriculture in Jordan and Palestine to establish this company, and conveyed his thanks to the donor countries and all supporters.
