Palestine Participates in "Halal Expo Istanbul 2024" with 30 Palestinian Companies

Organized by the Palestinian Trade Center (PalTrade), the national institution for export development and promotion, and in full collaboration and support from the Ministry of National Economy, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Palestinian Embassy in Turkey, along with significant representation from the Palestinian Food and Agriculture Industries Union, the Tahini Manufacturers Association, the Palestinian Leather Industries Union, and the Turkish-Palestinian Businessmen's Association, Palestine is taking part in "Halal Expo Istanbul 2024." The expo is currently being held in Istanbul, Turkey, from November 27 to 30, 2024.

This marks the largest Palestinian participation in Istanbul to date, featuring 30 Palestinian companies spanning vital economic sectors, including food industries, leather industries, cosmetics, Dead Sea products, and the dates sector. This diverse representation reflects the breadth of Palestinian production capabilities.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Faed Mustafa, and Advisor Rana Abu Saibaa, highlighting the full governmental support for this participation. The initiative aims to strengthen Palestinian-Turkish economic relations, foster collaboration, and boost trade exchange between the two countries.

As part of the exhibition's activities, the "Palestinian-Turkish Business Forum" will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The forum will bring together representatives from the Palestinian and Turkish private sectors and will include one-on-one meetings between Palestinian and Turkish companies to enhance trade and investment cooperation opportunities.

Through this participation, Palestine seeks to open new avenues in the Turkish market and increase its exports, contributing to the support of the Palestinian economy and the development of its various sectors at both regional and international levels.
