India Gets a Taste of Palestine at Indusfood for the First Time

NEW DELHI, India—Jan. 14, 2025—Palestine recently made its debut at Indusfood, a top Asian food and beverage trade show in New Delhi. As India’s food economy is widely considered to be the food economy of the future, the Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) deemed it an essential exhibition for Palestinian companies to experience. PalTrade is committed to diversifying export markets and increasing global reach for Palestinian businesses.

Five Palestinian food and agricultural companies participated to represent the Palestinian Pavilion in India’s capitol for three days, from January 8-10, 2025. Palestine Date Farms, King Valley Dates, Anabtawi Sweets, Al-Bayda Dates, and Lamico General Trading, all leading brands, presented the unique quality and flavor of Palestinian dates and sweets. The companies received a positive reception, with visitors expressing their admiration and support for Palestinian products. Many people, including traders, visited the Palestinian Pavilion on the exhibition’s opening day, reflecting the growing global interest in Palestinian brands.

As part of PalTrade’s strategy to promote Palestine’s national exports, PalTrade organizes the Palestinian Pavilion at a variety of expos worldwide.
