PalTrade Board Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Barham, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Ziad Al-Mimi

 Palestine Trade Center – PalTrade Board Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Barham, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Ziad Al-Mimi, Head of the Palestinian Water Authority, to discuss key issues affecting the private sector, with a particular focus on the agricultural sector in Jericho and the Jordan Valley.

The discussion focused on challenges related to agricultural irrigation and water well drilling. H.E. Dr. Al-Mimi expressed clear understanding of the importance of supporting agriculture in the Jordan Valley, affirming the Water Authority’s readiness to provide the necessary facilitation, given the sector’s economic and national significance under the current circumstances.

H.E. Dr. Al-Mimi also affirmed a swift response to the private sector’s demands conveyed by Mr. Barham and the Center’s Chief Executive Officer, which focused on obtaining a number of approvals related to irrigation in the Jordan Valley.
