As a trusted advisor in the Palestinian private sector, his strategic insights have shaped numerous success stories, and his leadership in boardrooms has fostered business expansion and financial growth. Mr. Shawwa holds a Master’s in Economics (Thesis: “Financial Inclusion”) from Al-Azhar University (2023), an MBA from North Virginia State University (2011), and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University (1992). Mr. Shawwa is also a passionate advocate for social responsibility, collaborating with international donors and executive authorities to promote sustainable development, employment, and entrepreneurship in Palestine. He played a pivotal role in Gaza's reconstruction after the 2014 war, contributing to the revitalization of the private sector.
