Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) and the Riyadh Chamber Sign a Cooperation Memorandum to Strengthen Trade Relations and Expand Exports Between Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) and the Riyadh Chamber (the Chamber of Commerce and Industry) signed today a joint Cooperation Memorandum aimed at strengthening commercial and industrial relations, expanding exports between Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and supporting the business communities in both countries through the exchange of information, expertise, and the organization of joint economic activities.
This memorandum comes as part of broader efforts to expand economic cooperation between Palestine and Saudi Arabia. It outlines commitments to strengthening ties between the business sectors in both countries and to sharing economic and commercial information in line with applicable regulations. It also aims to facilitate bilateral meetings and joint activities, including seminars and exhibitions, and to support incoming and outgoing trade delegations. In addition, the memorandum seeks to promote products and services through digital platforms, publications, and exhibitions, helping create new opportunities for trade exchange.
Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Obaikan, Chairman of the Board of the Riyadh Chamber, reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast position and continuous support for Palestine across various fields. He expressed the Chamber’s openness to any framework of cooperation that can support the Palestinian economy and enhance investment and trade opportunities between the two sides.
Similarly, Mr. Ibrahim Barham, Chairman of the Board of the Palestine Trade Center – PalTrade, expressed his appreciation for the role of the Riyadh Chamber and its efforts that contributed to the signing of this memorandum. He highlighted the importance and scale of the Saudi market and emphasized the need for greater presence of Palestinian products in this vital market. He also noted that Saudi support for Palestine has been longstanding and that the signing of this memorandum represents an initial step toward building further partnerships and investments that will positively impact the Palestinian economy and advance its exports.
Mr. Barham also acknowledged the important role of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Ambassador Mazen Ghneim, whose pivotal efforts helped pave the way for this memorandum. He emphasized the importance of joint work to broaden the horizons of trade cooperation between the two countries.
The memorandum was signed in the presence of representatives from both sides and enters into force as of the date of its signing.
